Today we travel a total of 175 kilometersNafplio, one of the most scenic towns in Greece, is our destination today. Our route to the historical town passes through the mountainous Arcadia. First stop at Langadia, a traditional settlement, situated on a mountain slope, at about 1000 meters. Langadia used to be famous in Greece mainly for its builders, called “pelekanoi” that made stone-built houses all over the Peloponnese peninsula. Here, in the central square we can taste the famous homemade Greek spoonsweets. Continuing, we visit the stunning Capsia Cave; an impressive cavern, which was discovered in 1887 and has been listed among the top ten of Greece's most important caves. Immediatelly after we will enjoy a unique tour in a traditional family winery in Mantineia, where we will taste the magnificent aromatic wine of the area. We drive to our last destination, Nafplio, the capital of the first Hellenic Republic. Nafplio is a beautiful historical seaport town, located near the north end of the Argolic Gulf. Before arriving at the hotel, which is situated in the Old Town, as every day, we enjoy a delicious traditional meal. Returning to our hotel, we have the evening off for a stroll in the narrow streets of the romantic town or for a drink by the sea at its vibrant harbor. This is your first overnight stay in Nafplio.
